Payment Processing

Our online payment processor is Paypal. If you don't have a Paypal account you may very quickly open one as part of our checkout procedure. Payment may then be made by Visa, MC, AmEx or by transfer from your Paypal account. We'll never charge your credit card or paypal account until your order has been shipped.

Mail Orders

Customers who do not use Pay Pal may wish to consider using the traditional mail order method.  You may proceed through the shopping cart process to checkout where your total, including shipping and handling charges, will be shown.  Then simply print off this page and send it to us together with a money order, to 4421 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6R 2H8.

International Orders

Orders outside Canada and the US can't be made online. International orders should be sent to us by email to knitting@urbanyarns.ca or by fax to 604-228-1133. We will charge the actual shipping cost to that address.

Stock Counts

Stock counts are not displayed on the site because our online stock is shared with our Point Grey 'brick and mortar' store. We are well-stocked in all products on the site, as much as possible. We will be able to immediately fill your order in most cases. And if we can't fill your entire order right away, you'll quickly receive an email outlining your options. Again, we'll never charge your credit card or paypal account until your order has been shipped.

Special Orders

We are usually happy to place special orders.  Please phone us at 604-228-1122 or send an email to knitting@urbanyarns.ca to enquire about placing a special order.  We will ask you to pay for the item before we order it if it is something we don’t normally stock.

Returns

Yarns, needles and tools, unused and in original packaging, may be returned for a store credit, within 30 days of purchase.  We will not refund any shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Urban Yarns.  Sorry, we can’t accept returns on books or patterns due to copy right laws.

Please include a copy of your receipt with your return.
